With Class Streams, you are able to share a wide range of content, including images, videos, documents, websites, and notes. Both teachers and students can contribute, ensuring that full learning experience is reflected.
To make communication more personalised, teachers can tag individual students in a post. Empower your staff to provide targeted support and feedback, whereby only tagged students will see the content specific to them.
Class Stream posts from students are automatically added to their Portfolios, keeping their classwork seamlessly organised. Teachers can tag students and choose whether to add posts to their Portfolios.
They can also highlight Approaches to Learning and IB Learner Profile directly on Class Stream posts, allowing skills and values to be reinforced in the context of real class work. In addition, future updates will enable posts to be linked to curriculum standards, supporting differentiated instruction and helping track student progress across key achievements.
Teachers can easily capture classroom moments directly within the app, whether it is a student presentation, a group activity, or a special classroom event. Importantly, all media is securely stored in the app and never saved to personal devices, giving schools and families confidence their data is protected.
Parents now have real-time insight into activities that are happening in the classroom. They can like and comment on posts to celebrate the class’ learning development. Class Streams have adjustable settings to align with the school’s requirements such as turning off comments if the school prefers to communicate via other channels.
