Over the past few months, ManageBac+ has introduced a range of new features and enhancements to better support the everyday needs of schools. We’re excited to highlight some of our most impactful recent updates, designed to simplify workflows and enrich the learning experience. Academic Analytics and AI Assistant
We’re excited to introduce Academic Analytics, a smarter way to understand insights and make data-driven decisions. School leaders and educators often spend hours piecing together spreadsheets and navigating multiple systems to answer critical questions. Academic Analytics changes that by providing an intuitive, centralized dashboard that gives a clear, holistic view of school data.
With flexible filters by programme, subject group, subject, class, or student, trends and potential risks are easy to spot. AI-assisted insights support teachers in reviewing progress, preparing for parent conversations, and focusing on student success rather than manual data work. IB Curriculum Updates
The International Baccalaureate (IB) continually refreshes its programmes to reflect the latest research and classroom practices, ensuring students develop the full range of learner profile attributes.
Diploma Programme (DP)
Updates expand student choice, clarify pathways, and streamline tools for educators. Subjects like Psychology, Visual Arts, Design Technology, and Computer Science include refreshed content and enhanced assessments, while the Extended Essay now offers subject-focused or interdisciplinary options. ManageBac+ is fully aligned, making it easy to update Unit Plans and track assessments.
Career-related Programme (CP)
Guidance has been updated, including new terminology and learning outcomes for Community Engagement and Language and Cultural Studies. ManageBac+ provides updated templates and planners to support a smooth transition.
Primary Years Programme (PYP)
Now features revised Strands, Scope, and Sequence. ManageBac+ lets schools adopt these updates without overwriting existing curriculum, giving teachers time to thoughtfully revise unit plans while maintaining continuity.
With these updates, schools can implement IB changes efficiently, keeping curriculum current, coherent, and focused on meaningful, student-centered learning.
My Workspace
My Workspace is a modern, personalized dashboard that brings everything you need into one intuitive hub. No more juggling multiple tabs or searching across platforms. Now students, teachers, and parents can now access tasks, schedules, and tools in a single, streamlined space.
For teachers, My Workspace means less time managing administrative tasks and more time for teaching. Assignment tracking, scheduling, and student communication are all centralized, giving educators a clear, real-time overview of class progress, upcoming deadlines, and student engagement.
Students benefit from a simplified, at-a-glance view of their school day. Assignments, schedules, reminders, and deadlines are consolidated into a central dashboard, making it easier to stay organized, prioritize work, and reduce stress.
Parents also gain a clearer understanding of their child’s academic journey. My Workspace delivers real-time updates on grades, attendance, assignments, and key school events, giving families insight into daily tasks and how they contribute to long-term learning goals.
Student Portfolio
We believe learning is a journey worth sharing. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the newly redesigned Portfolio, focused on making student learning more visible, meaningful, and easy to celebrate.
The Portfolio Timeline now unfolds a true story of growth, bringing together classwork, projects, extracurriculars, and reflections in one place. It’s easier than ever to track progress over time and engage with key milestones and accomplishments, offering a complete view of the learning journey.
Adding evidence is now easier and more intuitive, with user-friendly design and a smooth workflow that keeps everyone engaged. Only the essential information is required upfront, and additional details can be added when needed.
The Portfolio also brings student work to life. Photos, videos, notes, and websites are displayed in rich previews, videos play directly in the Portfolio, and multiple uploads can be grouped together for easier browsing. Notes with vibrant backgrounds highlight reflections and updates, while documents like PDFs can be previewed at a glance.
Ultimately, the redesigned Portfolio is about visibility, simplicity, and empowerment. Students can reflect on their achievements, share their learning journey with teachers and families, and take pride in their progress. For educators and parents, it’s an easy, engaging way to celebrate the incredible journey of every learner.
Class Streams
One of the key updates we’re excited about is Class Streams, a unified space where student work, classroom resources, and communication all come together. Designed for teachers, students, and families, Class Streams make it easier to stay connected, organised, and focused on learning.
No more switching between apps or losing track of important classroom moments. Teachers can share materials, students can engage actively, and parents can follow along in real time. Posts can highlight skills and values, helping everyone see the progress students are making.
Class Streams also bring learning to life. Photos, videos, notes, and documents are all in one place, making classroom activity more visual, interactive, and meaningful. Student work automatically links to their Portfolios, so progress is easy to track, and special moments like presentations or group projects can be captured and shared securely. By centralizing resources, student work, and communication, Class Streams help teaching become more effective and learning more focused.
The latest updates make it simpler to link classroom learning with your planning, enabling teachers to tag units, standards, and scope & sequence directly to evidence in the Class Stream. This connection will gradually help identify gaps between planned goals and what is taking place in the classroom.
Class Streams are now available on web and mobile, keeping the classroom connected wherever learning happens.
Google Classroom Integration
Managing rosters and grades across multiple platforms can be a headache for schools. That’s why we’re excited to announce the integration between ManageBac+ and Google Classroom, bringing seamless, automatic syncing between your SIS and LMS.

Faria Branding Refresh
ManageBac+ now features a refreshed look with Faria branding. The new login page provides a welcoming and consistent experience from the very first click. Key visual elements have been updated across the platform, giving a unified, fresh look. Schools will maintain their existing color schemes, ensuring familiarity while benefiting from the modern design.
