Enable Marketing to update website content efficiently without dev help
Since we’re not using WordPress, we built a custom backend that fits our needs. It lets the Marketing and Support teams add and edit content easily, while keeping the site fast, secure, and flexible with Svelte.
The current Faria.org is also not built on WordPress but on a custom framework, and we have already implemented this approach there with a backend and admin dashboard that allows the Marketing and Support teams to manage content independently. Please see the screenshot below:

Have We Implemented the Backend?
At this stage, we have not yet implemented the backend for the new Svelte website.
Our current focus has been on building the frontend and migrating all content from WordPress.
😟
When?
The backend implementation is planned after the frontend is stable, with an expected timeline of 3–4 weeks.
Our goal is to integrate all websites into a single admin dashboard, enabling efficient content management across all platforms.

Solution for Now
Web Team will manually input all content into the new website..
Fast, flexible, and future-ready
We chose Svelte with a GitHub + self-hosting strategy instead of WordPress to gain better performance, security, and flexibility, while keeping content management simple for Marketing and Support teams via a custom backend—just like we’ve successfully done on faria.org. This strategy enables our WebTeam to embrace new technologies, maintaining fast, reliable websites that grow with the company.
