What would you tell others about personal/professional growth opportunities within ManageBac?
When I joined an IB school and started using ManageBac in 2015, I was really impressed with its features to create unit plans. It is a great tool to collaborate, communicate and report. During the COVID pandemic, ManageBac came up with many new developments to design and execute online lessons that made our life easy. I have attended some of the webinars and now I am a ManageBac Ambassador – during this academic year I will be facilitating a session for new teachers in my school.
What advice would you give other leaders or educators who are considering ManageBac for their school(s)?
I would definitely suggest the switch to ManageBac as it helps to create unit plans with features like Stream & Resources. It is a great tool to organise your work and communicate with the school community (teachers, parents and students). Reporting is easily done in ManageBac. There are a lot of functionalities that an educator using ManageBac can learn and implement. It has features like AssessPrep, which is an app used to conduct assessments, or OSC Study for IB DP revision, or Stream & Resources where various resources and plans can be shared with students. SchoolsBuddy is another feature to link the co-curricular activities; it also has a feature to chat with individual students or the entire class.
