Authorisation or Evaluation within the IB is supposed to be a supportive and developmental process. However, to many, it can be a stressful time.

The attached resources are provided to help schools prepare for the process. As such, these templates are provided for easy adaptation and can be reviewed and adapted by your respective teams, substituting terms and amending as necessary, in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.

About the Author

Ali Hassan
Consultant

Born and raised in the UK, Ali has had an extensive career in education, serving in multiple roles such as Head of School, PYP/MYP/DP Coordinator, and English teacher in various international schools. He is currently a consultant assisting with school projects globally, including recruitment, training and business development. He mentors students on university programmes and serves as a board member for education and charity missions. He also reviews scholarships for the University of the People Master of Education degree, which supports educators. Ali is actively involved in multiple International Baccalaureate (IB) support roles and contributes to visiting teams for NEASC and CIS. He advocates for diversity, inclusion, health, and wellbeing.
