Session Highlights
Supporting and Tracking Learning and Agency across the IB Continuum
IB programmes offer amazing opportunities for students to shape their own learning paths. The PYP exhibition, the MYP personal project and the DP extended essay are key examples of self-directed learning. Teachers play a key role as mentors and supervisors as the students’ thinking develops from an initial idea to the final product of learning. School leaders need to consider the equitable distribution of students to supervisors and this is important in Continuum Schools, where teachers are involved in two or more IB programmes. This workshop will consider how ManageBac can help the students and their supporters to develop agency.
