Once Standards have been enabled within your Settings, teachers can begin aligning to those standards in their units.

Unittemplate Standars

Within each Unit Planner, you can select the appropriate Standards and corresponding strands, which are then automatically saved for future use across all your units for that class.

Once teachers have completed planning against standards within the Unit, these individual standards can then be used for standards-based assessment and reviewed at a program, subject and grade-level within the Curriculum Analytics.

Curriculum & Standards Updates
Below is our Curriculum Development and Standards team process to support curriculum & standards updates.

  1. Process11.

We regularly add and update standards/curriculum for all US states, Canadian provinces, Australian territories, and major national standards such as the Common Core, NGSS, Core Arts, AP, and the International Baccalaureate. or School(s) asks for a specific set of standards that they may use from their local region or area.

  2. Process22.

The team seeks copyright permission from the organization who created the standards.

  3. Process33.

After receiving permission, the team determines a structure for how standards should be articulated in our database to ensure the intention and meaning of the standards are reflected appropriately for the teachers.

  4. Process44.

We determine a timeline of two to six weeks to upload and/or update the standards.

  5. Process55.

Provide and make available the standards to the school(s) that initiated the request and provide an update to the schools and users.

Note: As standards become outdated, our team reflects this in our system by making them viewable to the users, but no longer selectable moving forward. This is typically done during summer and/or winter breaks to guarantee the least amount of disruption.
